Added functionality

The Vega G2.1 streaming DAC features a new architecture and id fitted with a new custom DAC including a fully revised clock circuit. The Aries G2.1 streaming transporter also underwent several important upgrades. The USB ports of the new G2.1 deliver a higher current than its predecessor and can now handle a larger selection of USB drives. Moreover, this new Aries G2.1 can now be used with multiple brands and models of USB-DACs.

Play CDs?

If you incidentally like to play albums from your CD collection or store them onto a hard disk, you can easily connect an optical USB drive to the new Aries G2.1. This great feature has been implemented into the 7th generation Lightning DS platform. While playing or ripping a compact disk, the Aries G2.1 provides a sound quality that surpasses the quality of many high-end CD players.

Better sound

The power supply of all AURALiC G2.1 models have been completely revised to provide an even lower noise floor than before. Furthermore, AURALiC has applied completely new dampening feet to the G2.1 series and is built on the all-new Unity Chassis 2 which reduces resonances to an absolute minimum. In addition, AURALiC has designed the new generation with a box-in-box chassis that is made of pure copper to reduce the influences from EMI and RFI even further. As a result, the new AURALiC G2.1 models deliver a jaw dropping sound quality.
