Grado Labs RS2x

The open-back on-ear Grado Labs RS2x is one of the most favoured headphones from the Reference Series by the Brooklyn-based audio manufacturer. The Grado Labs RS2x is significantly improved over its RS2 predecessor, following the Prestige Series which already received a substantial technology upgrade last year.

Completely renewed

The main upgrades are the improved and for the RS-Series modified 4th generation 44mm full-range x-drivers, the all-new 8-core headphone cable, upgraded custom headband and wooden housing now using two different types of wood. With this, these headphones deliver an extremely pleasant and distortion-free sound with which they will win the hearts of many demanding music enthusiasts.

4th generation headphone drivers

Like its predecessor, the RS2x features a metal grille for an optimized open-back airflow. The frequency span ranges from 14Hz to 28kHz and the driver impedance is 38 Ohms to match virtually any type of amplifier or smartphone. The driver sensitivity is 99.8 dB at 1mW and with a maximum tolerance of only +/- 0.05dB between the left and right channel. Thanks to the revolutionary x-drivers these dynamic open-back headphones allow you to experience music with even more control and finesse than before.

Grado Labs Signature

A pair of Grado headphones are traditionally made of wood. For the fully renewed RS2x a combination of maple for the outside and hemp as core material was chosen to provide a warm, open and dynamic sound signature. These Reference Series RS2x headphones allow you to fully enjoy your favourite music with tightly controlled bottom-end, a perfect midrange definition and a silky soft revealing topend. With these high-quality, hand-built state-of-the-art headphones, you'll experience just how good your favourite artists can sound every single day.
