Chord Electronics 2yu
The Chord 2yu from Chord Electronics is an advanced digital interface that enables the use the Chord 2go as a standalone streamer. Connect the 2yu directly to the 2go to add digital Toslink, coaxial and BNC outputs. In addition, Chord Electronics has cleverly integrated an extra USB-audio output. With these elegantly paired devices you can stream quickly and easily from the network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or from a microSD card.
Combine the Chord 2yu including the 2go with a high-quality DAC or the 768kHz upscaling Chord Hugo M Scaler and enjoy streaming audio in an excellent high-res sound quality. As with the iconic Hugo 2, the Chord 2yu is equipped with four intuitive round control buttons for mute, output selection, dimmer and a power switch to turn the Chord 2yu-2go combination on and off. Streaming audio tricky or complicated? Not according to Chord Electronics.
USB to S/PDIF
With this Chord 2yu digital interface, you can also easily convert digital USB-signals from PC, notebook or Mac to a digital Toslink or S/PDIF signal. The Chord 2yu is equipped with an optical Toslink output, a coaxial S/PDIF and a digital BNC output. This enables you a broader selection of good sounding DACs available on the market.
Custom install solution
The Chord 2yu is equipped with an extremely powerful processor so that it can effortlessly convert sample rates of music streams. In addition, this Chord 2yu is equipped with a low-jitter phase lock loop, to transmit jitter-free music streams in the highest possible digital sound quality. The combination of the 2yu and the 2go offers a powerful solution for custom installations to discretely implement Roon multiroom streaming functionality.
