High-Quality CD Playback

The precision slot-loading CD mechanism was specially developed for high-quality audio applications. CDs are quickly recognized and can be played automatically as soon as they are inserted. The player supports CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-R, and CD-RW, including MP3 and WMA files.

Music from USB

Using the front-panel USB port, the PD-301DAB-X easily plays music from a USB flash drive. In addition to MP3 and WMA, it also supports AAC and WAV files. The easy-to-read LCD display shows artist, album, and track information (ID3 tags), if available. Thanks to the folder navigation, you can easily browse through your music collection.

Burr-Brown 32-bit DAC

For digital-to-analog conversion, TEAC uses the high-quality Burr-Brown PCM5142 32-bit DAC. This ensures accurate, transparent, and musical playback, allowing both CDs and digital music files to sound their best.

Built-in DAB+/FM radio

In addition to CD and USB playback, the PD-301DAB-X features a built-in DAB+/FM tuner with space for 20 preset stations. This means you always have access to your favorite digital and analog radio stations without having to purchase a separate tuner.

Flexible connection options

The PD-301DAB-X features both analog and digital outputs. In addition to the RCA output, it includes coaxial and optical digital outputs, allowing you to easily connect the player to an external DAC or amplifier. The audio signal from the built-in DAB+/FM tuner is also available via the digital outputs.

The rugged, all-metal housing reduces unwanted vibrations and contributes to both the sound quality and the long service life of the device.
