The Shelly Dimmer Gen3 is designed for easy installation behind existing switches. A blue neutral wire is not always required, making the dimmer suitable for many older homes as well. For low-wattage bulbs under 20W, a bypass may be necessary to prevent unwanted afterglow or flickering of the lights.
