The Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 is an ultra-compact smart Wi-Fi switch that lets you easily automate lighting and other electrical devices. Thanks to its combination of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, no separate smart home hub is required, and you can easily control connected devices via the Shelly Smart Control app, a physical switch, or voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Compact size, great capabilities

With an installation depth of just 35 mm, the Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 is one of the smallest smart relay modules on the market. This allows it to fit easily behind most wall switches and in-wall boxes. Despite its compact design, the module can switch loads up to 8A / 2000W at 230V AC or 5A / 150W at 30V DC.

Works without a smart home hub

Thanks to its built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 can be paired directly with the free Shelly Smart Control app. In addition, the module integrates easily with popular smart home platforms such as Home Assistant, Homey, and SmartThings, making it suitable for both simple and advanced automations.

Potential-free relay for added flexibility

The Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 features a potential-free (dry contact) relay, which allows it to control devices with different supply voltages. As a result, the module is suitable not only for lighting but also for applications such as garage doors, entry gates, and other electrical systems.

New Gen3 Hardware

The third generation is equipped with the new ESP-Shelly-C38F chip with 8 MB of flash memory. This provides more storage space for future firmware updates and new features. In addition, the Gen3 series is ready for future Matter support, and the module supports advanced features such as MQTT, webhooks, HTTPS, scripting, Bluetooth gateway, and Wi-Fi repeater.
