With the SM1.3, Shanling sets a new standard for network players and DACs that want to be the beating heart of a serious HiFi set. The device is equipped with AKM's top combination of the AK4499EX DAC and AK4141 Delta-Sigma modulator, which converts audio up to PCM 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512 with extreme precision. Thanks to support for a wide range of streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, Apple Classical, and Presto Music, complemented by DLNA, AirPlay 2, and Samba, the SM1.3 functions as an extremely flexible and future-proof network player.

Under the hood, the SM1.3 runs on a powerful 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 processor, combined with an Android 12 environment specially optimized for Hi-Fi. With 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and an M.2 SSD slot, it offers fast response, stable operation, and room for expansion. The completely redesigned Shanling interface is designed for direct and intuitive control, with quick access to settings and playback functions via the 5.8-inch 1080p touchscreen. The sleek aluminum chassis with rounded corners, glass top panel, and choice of black or silver finishes seamlessly matches other Shanling components such as the MCD1.3.

In terms of audio technology, the SM1.3 has been constructed with great care. The power supply is separated for digital and analog circuits, each powered by its own 31W toroidal transformer for a stable, low-noise power supply. Accusilicon precision clocks and Shanling's AGLO technology ensure bit-perfect playback, even within Android. The analog output uses a MUSES8920 OPA and can be used as a preamplifier, while the integrated 6.35mm headphone output with TPA6120-OPA effortlessly drives even demanding headphones. With WiFi 6, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC and aptX variants, XMOS XU316 USB interface, and control via the updated Eddict Player app, the Shanling SM1.3 is a complete, modern, and audiophile all-in-one solution.
