At the heart of the NEO Stream 3 lies a carefully tuned DAC section based on a Burr-Brown chipset, chosen for its natural, musical character. The separate signal paths for PCM and DSD preserve the integrity of the digital signal right up to the analog conversion. JVCKENWOOD’s K2HD technology restores harmonic information that is often lost in digital recordings, resulting in a warmer, richer, and more analog-sounding audio image.

The power supply and signal processing have also been refined. Upgraded polymer and ELNA Silmic II capacitors ensure cleaner power and smoother highs, while USB and S/PDIF outputs are driven by a femto-precision clock in combination with Active Noise Cancellation and iPurifier technology to minimize jitter and distortion.
