The iBasso AMP18 is a high-end transistor headphone amplifier module that sets new standards for portable amplification within the iBasso ecosystem. Developed for full compatibility with the DX300, DX320, and DX340 series, AMP18 combines a highly advanced circuit with exceptional power and refined sound quality. Thanks to its impressive 80-transistor matrix, this compact AMP card delivers high current capacity and excellent control, even with low-impedance and demanding headphones and IEMs.

The core of AMP18 consists of a two-stage amplification architecture with a cascaded current feedback circuit, which effectively prevents transient distortion without compromising speed or dynamics. In the first amplification stage, carefully selected operational amplifiers ensure extremely low-noise and accurate signal reproduction, while transistors increase the driving power. The second stage uses current mirror amplification with complementary outputs, resulting in linear amplification, lightning-fast attack, and natural decay, with realistic reproduction of microdetails and dynamic passages.

With support for an external 12V power supply, the AMP18 achieves an impressive output power of up to 1740mW + 1740mW @ 32 ohms, allowing it to drive virtually any headphones with ease.
