DS Audio DS-E3 Mono Cartridge

The DS Audio Mono series was specially developed for optimal playback of mono recordings. The cartridges utilize a specially tuned suspension system that detects only the horizontal movements of the stylus. Unlike stereo records, which use both horizontal and vertical groove modulations, mono recordings contain information only in the lateral movements. By focusing entirely on these signals, the Mono cartridges reproduce the characteristic qualities of mono recordings with exceptional precision. All Mono components feature a precision-machined base made of solid brass. This material was carefully selected for its excellent combination of high rigidity and effective internal damping.
