The DS-E3 equalizer features newly developed amplification and power supply circuits that deliver even higher sound quality. The amplification circuit is symmetrical, and the voltage supplied to the optical element has been further stabilized. This results in exceptionally clear, fast, and accurate reproduction, with improved detail and a natural sound balance.
To significantly reduce its size, the DS-E3 equalizer uses high-quality operational amplifiers as its amplification elements. Thanks to this approach, the signal path has been greatly shortened, reducing the number of components required and further minimizing unwanted interference with the audio signal. This efficient design not only contributes to pure signal transmission but also enables a much more compact enclosure.
Thanks to its optimized design, the DS-E3 equalizer is about three times smaller than the DS003 equalizer. Despite its compact size, it delivers the characteristic transparency, speed, and musicality that are hallmarks of DS Audio’s optical elements.
