Chord Electronics Anni

Anni from Chord Electronics is the brand’s very first integrated desktop amplifier. Designed to drive both headphones and compact speakers, the amplifier utilizes Chord Electronics’ patented ULTIMA circuit topology. This makes the Anni exceptionally capable of getting the most out of modern high-end headphones, desktop monitors, and high-resolution audio sources.

The Anni is part of the Qutest series and seamlessly complements the performance of the multi-award-winning Qutest standalone DAC and the Huei phono stage. Together, these components form a high-quality desktop audio solution that combines advanced digital and analog technologies for the modern music lover. The compact, modular QSS system (Qutest Stand System) from Chord Electronics provides the perfect support for this setup.

The amplifier features the recently developed dual-feed-forward error correction circuit technology, whether used with headphones or compact speakers. Thanks to this advanced technology, the Anni can effortlessly drive virtually any headphone load, while continuously monitoring and adjusting the gain for optimal performance.

The Anni is equipped with both 3.5 mm headphone outputs and 6.35 mm outputs, allowing two listeners to enjoy music at the same time. It also features 4 mm banana-type speaker connectors. The amplifier delivers 10 watts of high-quality ULTIMA amplification and is controlled via a volume control on the front panel, which also serves as an input selector switch for the two line-level inputs. A two-stage speaker gain control offers additional flexibility when using a variety of desktop monitors.
