The AT-ST3 speaker stands ensure that your AT-SP3X or other bookshelf speakers of similar dimensions can deliver optimal sound quality. Each stand is made of sturdy alloy steel with vibration-damping cork feet and provides sturdy support for a speaker weighing up to 3 kg (6.6 lbs). The surface of the stand where the speaker rests is lined with urethane foam to further dampen unwanted vibrations. The surface is angled slightly at 13 degrees, assuming that music is listened to at a short distance from the speakers. The angle also prevents sound waves from being reflected by hard surfaces, which can negatively affect sound quality.
