In the past, hybrid designs featuring tubes in the output stage were only found in higher-end CD players. However, Advance Paris has managed to integrate this technology into a CD player priced well below €1,000. Power Supply with a Toroidal Transformer
To emphasize its audiophile character, the power supply is equipped with a toroidal transformer, which results in virtually no stray fields and quieter operation. In addition, the toroidal transformer is positioned as far away as possible from the digital circuitry to minimize interference.
High-quality digital-to-analog conversion
No compromises were made when it came to the D/A converter used. The choice fell on the highly regarded Wolfson WM8761 converter (24-bit/192 kHz), with the ultimate goal of achieving flawless music reproduction. For connecting to other components, there are even two analog (RCA and balanced XLR) and two digital (optical and coaxial) outputs available.
