The Advance Paris X-cd7 CD player features a simple design but delivers surprising performance. This model has undergone continuous development at Advance Paris over many years and is now equipped with a new laser unit to further improve read performance. With the inclusion of the excellent Wolfson WM8761 converter (24-bit/192 kHz), no corners have been cut when it comes to digital-to-analog conversion. Special attention has been paid to the analog output amplifier. Through the use of audiophile-grade components in the analog output stage—such as resistors and capacitors—the sound is characterized by rich detail and a lack of harshness. The all-metal chassis reduces the risk of interference between the various components of your hi-fi system, while significant effort has also been devoted to minimizing mechanical vibrations from the drive mechanism.

Extensive connectivity and functionality

Voor het aansluiten op andere componenten zijn er zelfs twee analoge (RCA en gebalanceerde XLR) en twee digitale (optisch en coaxiaal) uitgangen beschikbaar. Aan de voorzijde bevindt zich een handige USB-ingang (met afdekdopje) voor het afspelen van MP3/WMA-bestanden vanaf een USB-stick. Het stijlvolle frontpaneel is voorzien van een duidelijk en goed leesbaar display. Een afstandsbediening behoort vanzelfsprekend tot de standaarduitrusting. Het energieverbruik van slechts 10W wordt als laag beschouwd, en het apparaat schakelt automatisch over naar de stand-by modus (verbruik < 0,5W) na 30 minuten inactiviteit, wat bijdraagt aan energiebesparing.
