NAD PP 4
The PP 4 digital phono / USB preamp offers superior simulated and sonic performance, NAD's two simple solutions, making it easy to add a phono to many of today's stereo amplifiers and AV receivers that have either eliminated the phono input or have a low-quality circuit to attach your turntable to. As part of NAD's commitment to the environment, the PP 4 has a more efficient "green" power supply that reduces power consumption. The PP 4 goes one step further with a USB interface, shielded USB cable and recording limit control that reduces noise and improves the conversion process from analog to digital. The PP 4's Auto Power Down feature saves energy by automatically turning the PP 4 OFF when not in use.
Our PP4 digital Phono / USB preamp allows you to digitize your cherished vinyl collections to a PC or Mac. It features inputs for both MM (moving magnet) and MC (moving coil) types for a wide range of phono cartridges, and there's a line input for transferring cassette tapes. The PP 4 also includes VinylStudio Lite software for ripping LPs and burning audio CDs. The PP4 Phono-to-USB preamplifier provides a complete hardware and software solution with exceptional flexibility for recording from LP or tape.
PP 4 VinylStudio Lite
The PP 4 (or the older PP 3) comes with a Mac and PC compatible version of AlpineSoft's VinylStudio Lite ripping software is included with your new PP 4. With VinylStudio Lite you can:
- Rip LPs to WAV files
- Split tracks
- Burn CDs
- Record discs
- Look up song titles
- Records management
